Hit Me with Your Best Shot - Photo Contest | Central Georgia Photographer

Stacie Jensen, owner and operator of Rock My Photography is having a "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" photo contest. Now I am not going to lie. It took me a LONG time to decide which image to submit, but I chose this one b.c it moves me.

John had been gone on a seven month deployment. Kathryn went though some MAJOR curve balls while he was gone and overcame ALL of them with such grace and came out of this so much stronger because of all of it. I was so honored to be there when she welcomed her Airman home!!! Military homecomings are so moving.

Violet's Birth Story -- Pt. 1 | Central Georgia Photographer

I am in love with everything about this birth. Not only did Momma rock but she had THE BEST coaching & support from her Husband (Ben) and Midwife (Holly). I wish I could explain in words how amazing Jessica did during her labor. No pain meds. Water birth. And she NEVER made a peep during contractions. She would just close her eyes, focus on her breathing, and get through it like an old pro. And then between contractions she was laughing, smile, cutting jokes, and quoting movie lines. It was such an amazing labor to be apart of. I still an in shock of how peaceful and beautiful this labor was. Sweet baby Violet had the PERFECT welcoming.

Thanks again to the Hosbein family for letting me be apart of such an amazing moment in your life. And CONGRATS to each of you, Momma Jessica, Daddy Ben and big sister Ruby, on your newest family member.

A moment I will never forget is the moment Jessica sat into the birthing pool for the first time. It was instant relief from the pain. The look of "Yes! Another one converted!!" on Holly's face is PRICELESS!!!






Ben was SUCH an amazing support to Jessica! Giving her water and wiping her sweat away. Anything she needed, he was there.

I Heart Faces | Hey Girl

The love of a Momma is the most powerful feeling in the universe. A Momma will do anything for her babies. I look at this image of sweet baby Tessa and her Momma and see nothing but sweet beautiful love. I can only hope that Tessa will cherish this image as she gets older.

Is there anything prettier then a pecan orchard in the spring? I have a really hard time thinking of anything that tops it. And then you throw in a beautiful expecting momma and BAM magic!!!!

I have been DYING to do a session in the blooming peach trees since we moved to Georgia. So when Suzanne contacted me about shooting her maternity session I knew I had to take advantage of it and shoot in the orchard! It just so happened that she was also expecting a sweet baby girl, so the pink flowers were even more perfect! I am so happy I got to shoot in the orchard before we move to California, although I do hear that the almond trees there are pretty too when they are in bloom :)
