They got married under the big oak tree on the pasture of Woodlawn Plantation. She wore the same dress here Momma did 27 years ago, a family friend modernized it perfectly! It had three blue hearts of cloth stitched inside; one from her Granddady's favorite blue shirt, one from her Pa's Flannel Jacket, and one from of of her Mema's outfits. To say that love went into every single little detail of this wedding would be an understatement. From hair and make up, to the decor, to the florals, to the Pastor that married them.. all life long friends that truly had an impact in Autumn and Michael's life. It was such a special wedding to be apart of.

The day of their wedding, we were in the bit of a time crunch and there was another wedding going on at the venue -- so we were extremely limited on their bride+groom portraits. I always will go above and beyond for my clients, so a few months later Whitney+Kienan go dressed back up and we headed out to one of the most romantic locations I have ever shot at for some bride+groom portraits that I knew they deserved! I am so happy we did this. This is by far one of my top five favorite sessions I have ever shot.
