Sandage & William's Sneak Peek | Savannah Georgia Photographer

This past weekend I got to take work with some beautiful families in some beautiful yummy fall light! Fall finally made an appearance here in Savannah! It's my favorite season and even though we don't get much of the fall colors in our foliage it's still a beautiful time of year.

First up was the super adorable Sandage Family. They are sadly on their way to a new chapter of their life as a military family but wanted to capture a few images Downtown to remember their time here in Savannah! I could seriously eat their kiddos with a spoon they were so stinkin cute!!
Then I got to travel to Hilton Head to capture a miracle. Diane+Joe are expecting their Rainbow Baby after having fertility issues. The love these two have for each other is nothing short of phenomenal. It's the stuff they write books about. Joe is head over heals for Diane and thinks she is just beyond radiant. I really was just in awe of these two.

Now this week I am preparing for Whitney+Kienan's wedding!! I have been so super excited for their wedding day to come! They aren't just clients they have become friends and I truly love them so very much. Be sure to check back next week for a teaser image from their beautiful wedding!

He loves the way she cares about and looks at him.
She loves his silliness and his determination.

Mariah's best friend, Ally, had just starting date hew new beau Justin when Mariah noticed a picture of Josh (Justin's brother) on Facebook and mentioned to Justin that she thought he was handsome. She may or may not have went and liked a few of Josh's pictures; but those are loose details that may or may not have gotten lost in time. She received a Facebook message from Josh a few days later asking her to come with him to his sister's volleyball game.

Three years later; Josh gave Mariah specific instructions to wear a nice dress and high heels for dinner because he was treating her to their favorite Sushi restaurant in downtown Charleston. They parked pretty far from the restaurant and Mariah was not thrilled because cobble stone streets aren't very kind to high heels. He ignores her request and parks in a garage down the street closer to the water. He says he wants to take a stroll through Waterfront Park before dinner. After a few steps the heels come off and she walked barefoot to a bench facing the water, right down from the Pineapple Fountain. They sat and enjoyed the view; soon Josh started fidgeting with his coat pocket. He says, "You know I love you right?" and got down on one knee in front of her, still barefoot, sitting on the bench. She cried her eyes out and asked if he's serious because if not this was a cruel joke. He told her he was sincere and wants her to be his wife. Of course she say yes to her best friend and the most gorgeous ring she could ever imagine. A ring which he sneakily designed himself for the past 3 months... the rest is history.

They got married in Camden, SC at TenEleven Galleria in front of their closest friends and family. It wasn't a traditional wedding in some aspects; but it's what the bride wanted, and every single moment was beautiful and perfect for the couple.

They danced and laughed together all night long. Making memories of the day. Memories they would look back on and remember for years to come.

I will forever be grateful to Mariah+Josh for allowing me to capture such an important part of their story. I truly loved being apart of their day. Their family and friends were some of the sweetest people I have every had the pleasure of meeting! It was a moment I will not soon forget.
