Operation Love Reunited: Farrara

What could be better then being gone for months and coming to home to your beautiful wife? Coming home to your very beautiful, very pregnant, wife!! This is to-date one of my top five favorite Operation Love Reunited Homecomings I have shot. Anna was so cute patiently waiting for her Husband to come down from the terminals. And the second she saw his face her's just lit up with joy! Mike was quite and reserved but you could totally tell he was smitten for his wife and her beautiful baby bump. I was so very blessed to have been apart of this moment. These images actually turned into their maternity images as well, because Anna went into labor the day before we had the date set to shoot. Operation Love Reunited: McGinnis

Today was a fantastic day! I got to help the McGinnis family Welcome Home their Airman!!! I was so blessed that Britney contacted me to capture these memories for her! This is just a little sneak of the Homecoming :)

One of my photography bucket list items was to shoot a session at a Christmas Tree Farm... Que Lauren+Anthony, some AMAZING friends I have made here in NorCal. When Lauren announced she was looking for a tree farm to get their Christmas tree from I emailed her right away to let her know I would be tagging along for their adventure and she was all for it!!

We ventured all the way to Paradise, CA and found the PERFECT tree farm!!! Mountain View Christmas Tree Farm was the perfect backdrop for this super adorable session!! Rows and rows of fresh trees, beautiful fall colors from the changing leaves, and the friendliest staff full of information! I highly HIGHLY recommend Mountain View Christmas Tree Farm to anyone looking to add a fresh tree to their home for Christmas!

Ok back to the session... As we searched for Lauren+Anthony's perfect tree we had fun stopping and taking advantage of the cute spots around the grounds for their session! I am so in love with these images and I am so happy that Lauren+Anthony agreed to let me come along on their hunt!

After we ended the shoot, we hung out around the farms fire pit, roasted some hot dogs and even made S'mores! The perfect ending to a fun filled afternoon of finding their perfect tree.. ** Fun Fact: Each year Lauren+Anthony name their tree, and this past year they went with "Brooke" :)

Julia+Mark Pre-Deployment | Yuba-Sutter Photographer

I LOVE Operation: Love Reunited Pre-Deployment sessions! They are a perfect way to capture some special moments with your loved one before he/she heads out for months at a time.

Julia+Mark were about to go though their very first deployment together as a married couple! I do not get to shoot very many Pre-Deployment sessions, so I was super excited when Julia told me that's what she wanted!! These two made by job super easy. They were so carefree and super sweet. I loved working with the two of them so much and I cannot wait to shoot their Homecoming with Mark comes home :)
